Wildlife, Journey, and Habitat Available to BC Retailers Starting Today
VICTORIA, BC — June 18, 2020 — 1193269 BC Ltd., doing business as Shelter Cannabis (“Shelter”) is proud to announce that the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (BCLDB) is now carrying Wildlife, Journey, and Habitat products for BC Retailers.
The offerings are being made available through Health Canada licensed Agro-Greens, and include two cultivars from Wildlife (Ultra Sour, Wappa), two cultivars from Journey (White Crush and Honey Jack), and one from Habitat (Cake) in 3.5g sizes initially.
“We simply couldn’t be any more excited for today’s launch of our products into the BC market,” said Shelter CEO Mark Hauk. “We understand the deep history of cannabis in BC, and know BC consumers are some the most discerning and informed in the country. We’re really looking forward to engaging retailers and consumers in the province with what we believe to be some of the finest legal cannabis products in the Canadian market today.”
These products have currently only been available to medical patients through the Shelter Market medical platform, and to recreational consumers in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
This also marks the first time Habitat products will be available in BC. Based in Chase, BC, Habitat is a sustainable craft cultivator using aquaponics and a proprietary closed-loop water management system to bring together fish farming and cannabis cultivation.
“After successful launches in both Saskatchewan and Manitoba, we are thrilled to be finally available in our home province of BC. As BC growers it has always been a priority for us to sell locally and strive to provide the quality BC is known for,” said Habitat CEO Rudi Schiebel.
Consumers in BC can expect to find these products at local retailers sometime next week.
