CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
After a successful 14 year career in the mining and oil & gas sectors as a Health and Safety Manager, Mark entered the Canadian cannabis space nearly four years ago. Since that time, he has founded a number of successful (often disruptive) cannabis start-ups spanning the areas of brand & product development, cultivation & processing, as well as wholesale & retail. Mark has a solid track record of building and fostering strong, dynamic and successful teams, and looks forward to continuing to do so for many years to come.
CHIEF PRODUCTION OFFICER
Mat Hauk, Chief Production Officer at Shelter Brand House, comes from an experienced mechanical background and has a natural ability to engineer innovative equipment that paves a unique space in the cannabis industry. His dedication to improving efficiency aligns with his utmost value of producing products of the highest standard. Mat’s commitment to quality and efficiency create a synergistic effect allowing only the best products to reach the hands of consumers.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Sheleena holds an extensive background in operations and project management; with over 20 years of experience, she simultaneously leads the day-to-day operations at Shelter. Combining people, technology and communications, Sheleena designs and implements efficient and precise business systems that optimize business operations. She is passionate about creating high-calibre employee and customer experiences that promote a positive and profitable company culture. Sheleena’s passion, proficiency and keen attention allow her to excel in the cannabis space and drive the company forward.
CHIEF DESIGN OFFICER
Blair has been designing for the past 16 years with multiple focuses including technical apparel, print, packaging, furniture, interiors and products. His natural curiosity and attraction to problem-solving, paired with his high standards, set him apart as a leader in the cannabis space. He has a unique ability to recognize market holes, explore them further, create solutions, and energize people along the way. For the past 2 years, Blair has been solely focused on creating human-centered brands and products in the cannabis space while developing and maintaining vital relationships with both domestic and overseas manufacturers.
Abyan brings over 10 years of sales experience in both Canadian and Australian markets to Shelter Brand House. His professional rapport comes effortlessly and has enabled him to create a variety of wholesale relationships nationwide. Abyan’s deep-rooted experience in the cannabis industry gives him a leading advantage with knowledge of products and trends coming to market. Abyan’s work with branding and promotion of products, along with his strong connections with dispensaries across the country, launches him ahead in the emerging cannabis industry.
MARKETING MANAGER & DESIGNER
Brantin, Marketing Manager & Designer at Shelter Brand House, holds years of experience in digital marketing and design. He aims to match marketing with creativity to form concepts for consumers on their online journey. Brantin’s bold and colourful style, paired with his creative concepts, form lasting connections between brands and their audience. Brantin has transitioned his creative focus into the cannabis space over the past year, opening a new opportunity for his creativity to excel in an emerging, colourful industry.
